Carex 'Moonlight'

This versatile garden plant is great for ground cover but also works well planted on its own in beds, borders or patio pots and containers. Also known as Sedge, this Carex oshimensis Moonlight variety features yellow and rich green leaves, adding decorative interest throughout the year.

Carex oshimensis Moonlight is easy to grow and undemanding to look after. Other than needing to be watered during dry spells, this plant largely takes care of itself. You may wish to prune in Spring or early Summer to maintain its size and shape but this is not essential.
