Carex 'JS Greenwell'

Commonly known as Sedge, Carex oshimensis JS Greenwell is a versatile garden plant that works well placed in groups or on its own in pots and containers. The narrow leaves arch to form an elegant fountain shape, which is topped off by spikes of sandy flowers in May and June.

Carex oshimensis JS Greenwell is a low maintenance plant that thrives with little time and effort. When planted in the right spot, all it requires is watering during dry spells. You may wish to prune in Spring or Summer just to maintain a desirable size and shape.
